About Mrs. Richards

I am very grateful that you have
taken the time to view our blog!

I provide a safe learning environment for my students, build character on an individual basis and foster their growth as a community in the classroom.  Although I enjoy all things art, I have other interests as well! Camping, gardening, traveling, and cooking are just a few. Below, are some of my personal artworks. Feel free to comment on our blog. Students are always interested in who is viewing our blog and what they think about it!

In progress works:
Cavern, Acrylic on Canvas 2015

Cotton Fields, Oil on Canvas, 2015

Students: I would consider this the first layer of oil complete and the second layer started. I work in "layers" to organize my thoughts and create dimension and depth in my work. The image comes from our family ranch in West Texas.

  4. Thank you for the compliment. I am not sure if you are referring to one piece or the lot. These works have been made over the years at different times. :)
